Welcome to the Lady Lions Basketball Program. We are ecstatic that you have made a choice to not only represent your school as an outstanding student, but have taken a step further and made a commitment to compete in an interscholastic sport. Here’s a little bit about the program…the coaches…and what our goal is for you. Our coaching staff is entering their 1st season here at University City High School. We are a part of the Missouri State High School Activities Association and will be entering our new conference in the fall. We are always striving to find dedicated and talented individuals like yourself and looking for ways to acknowledge all your hard work. Players are expected to perform in the classroom, be responsible off the court and give 110% on the court. We are a dedicated set of individuals who want to see you as a player succeed academically, athletically and in life. We are committed to the possibility of your success as a student-athlete. We believe that basketball gives you so many intangibles in life. We will push you, care about you and expect nothing but the best from you. Coaching basketball is one of our true passions in life. We feel fortunate that we have this opportunity to be such an integral part of your high school experience. We maintain an open door policy. Our goal for you is that at the end of your high school experience you will have forged lasting bonds with your teammates, competed at a high level and ignited your passion for the game itself.
